Many of you know that I am a huge fan of Sara Elfgren and Mats Strandberg’s Engelsfors series that started with Cirkeln. Well, 30,000 youth voted and their choice was clear: Eld is was voted the best YA book of 2012 for Bokjuryn. I am so happy for them!
I first heard about the Engelfors series from my dear friend Pär, who designed the cover. Pär did such a good job of filling me in on the plot that I knew I had to read Cirklen. Since then, I’ve been hooked. 
If you aren’t fluent in Swedish, get Cirkeln in English. Eld, or Fire as it’s known in English, will be available in English translation in September of this year and it’s definitely worth the wait! Pre-order it if you can.
